About

WaveCore started as a group chat between a few friends who kept arguing about which tower defence game was worth the storage space. At some point we decided to stop arguing and start writing it down properly. That's the whole origin story — no big company behind it, just people who like these games.

We focus on strategy and tower defence titles because that's what we know best. Every game on the site gets played for real: we build our first maze, lose a few runs, learn the wave patterns, and only then form an opinion. If we didn't finish enough of a game to judge it, we say so instead of pretending.

Games get picked for review in a simple way. We watch what people are talking about, we check what looks interesting in the stores, and we take suggestions from readers. Popularity helps something get on our radar, but it never guarantees a good score.

The goal is to be the kind of review you'd actually trust from a friend. Clear about the good parts, honest about the grind, and specific enough that you know whether a game fits how you like to play.
