Hollow Tide Expedition leans into atmosphere. You sail between sunken islands, solve environmental puzzles, and piece together what happened to a lost expedition. It's calm, moody, and quietly gripping.
The puzzles are logical rather than obtuse, and the map gently guides you without holding your hand. We spent a happy afternoon just exploring corners we didn't need to visit.
Some backtracking gets tedious late on, and the story ends a touch abruptly. Still, it's one of the more memorable mobile adventures we've played this year.
